Biography

Dr. Pooja R received her Ph.D. in Biotechnology and Bioinformatics from Kuvempu University, Shivamogga. She had worked on natural products, drug docking and designing for cancer therapy for her doctoral thesis and her Master of Science in Biotechnology from Bangalore University, with research experience spanning 2014 till present. She is passionate about Bio Nanotechnology and has practical knowledge and teaching experience in the following areas, Plant Tissue Culture, Animal Biotechnology, Biochemistry, Microbiology, Genetic Engineering, Immunotechnology, Pharmacognosy and Medical Biotechnology. She is more passionate in the field of Science and Research, and she has published over 21 Research manuscripts journals in International and National journals which are indexed in Springer Nature, Scopus, Web of Science and UGC care list and also contributed several book chapters. She has also presented papers at numerous conferences and attended many workshops at International and National Levels. She has also successfully completed hands on training in in vitro/in vivo cytotoxicity and anticancer activity on cancer cell lines, as well as worked on many Molecular docking software tools for in silico studies. She previously worked as a Scientist at Chromed Bioscience Private Limited in Tumkur. Her achievements include: 1. Appointed as an Academic Editor in PLOS ONE Journal, California, USA. 2. Appointed as a Life time Fellow member at Eudoxia Research University, USA. 3. Appointed as an International Editorial Board member of the International Journal of Academic and Practical Research (IJAPR), Philippines. 4. Appointed as a Review Board Member of the Journal IJERT (International Journal of Engineering Research and Technology), India. 5. Appointed as a Reviewer for Academic Editor- IIP proceedings conferences & Edited Books She is keen on scientific research with multidisciplinary and has been guiding young minds in the refurbishment of knowledge. She is diligently contributing to the scientific community with the goal of uplifting society through her research.
