Two civil engineering projects, one residential and one commercial, required substantial land excavation, resulting in soil degradation, root damage, and poor water retention. These factors led to stunted tree growth, increased risk of uprooting, and reduced biodiversity. The study proposes mitigation measures such as soil restoration, root protection, water management, and tree support to address the negative impacts and promote sustainable urban development practices.}, DOI = {} }
