This study article aims to investigate the most recent developments in marine geology, with a particular focus on the relevance, methodology, and consequences of these improvements for comprehending the Earth's geological history and climate changes. In order to present a thorough overview of the area, we want to include the latest discoveries and creative research approaches. We aim to show this discipline's significant role in the discovery of resources, the conservation of natural resources, and the mitigation of natural calamities.</p>
<kwd-group kwd-group-type="author"><kwd>Marine geology</kwd><kwd> plate tectonics</kwd><kwd> seafloor spreading</kwd><kwd> subduction zones</kwd><kwd> ocean trenches</kwd><kwd> climate change</kwd><kwd> marine sediments</kwd><kwd> resource exploration</kwd><kwd> sustainable management</kwd><kwd> geological processes</kwd></kwd-group><funding-group><funding-statement>This research, including authorship and publication, did not receive any specific grant from funding agencies in the public, commercial, or non-profit sectors.</funding-statement></funding-group></article-meta></front><back>
<title>Data Availability</title><p>Data sharing is not applicable to this article.</p>
<title>Conflicts of Interest</title><p>All authors state that there are no conflicts of interest.</p>
<title>Authors&#x2019; Contributions</title><p>The author was solely responsible for the study's conception, data collection, analysis, interpretation, and manuscript preparation.</p>
<title>Funding Statement</title><p>This research, including authorship and publication, did not receive any specific grant from funding agencies in the public, commercial, or non-profit sectors.</p>
<title>software-information</title><p>No software or tools were applied in this study.</p>
<ack><title>Acknowledgments</title><p>I appreciate the support and expertise of everyone who contributed to this research and manuscript writing, as well as the insightful comments from anonymous reviewers.</p></ack><ref-list content-type="authoryear"><ref id="1"><label>1</label><element-citation publication-type="journal"><p>-</p></element-citation></ref></ref-list></back></article>
