This paper explores the intricacies of collaboration and rivalry within Thailand's music landscape, examining how traditional and modern influences interact in a space where competition and cooperation coexist. By analyzing the relationships between artists, producers, and institutions, this research highlights how these dual forces of collaboration and rivalry drive creativity and shape the broader music ecosystem in Thailand. The study also considers how the increasing influence of international genres impacts local trends and how Thailand's music industry navigates its place on the global stage.</p>
<kwd-group kwd-group-type="author"><kwd>Thai music industry</kwd><kwd> collaboration</kwd><kwd> rivalry</kwd><kwd> traditional music</kwd><kwd> modern music</kwd><kwd> globalization</kwd><kwd> Thai pop</kwd><kwd> mor lam</kwd><kwd> social media</kwd><kwd> music festivals</kwd></kwd-group><funding-group><funding-statement>This study did not receive specific financial support from funding agencies in the public, commercial, or non-profit sectors.</funding-statement></funding-group></article-meta></front><back>
<title>Data Availability</title><p>Data sharing is not part of this study.</p>
<title>Conflicts of Interest</title><p>There are no conflicts of interest to report from any of the authors.</p>
<title>Authors&#x2019; Contributions</title><p>The author handled all aspects of the study, including its design, data collection, analysis, and manuscript preparation.</p>
<title>Funding Statement</title><p>This study did not receive specific financial support from funding agencies in the public, commercial, or non-profit sectors.</p>
<title>software-information</title><p>There is no software or tools usage information relevant to this research.</p>
<ack><title>Acknowledgments</title><p>I appreciate the assistance and expertise provided by everyone involved in this research and manuscript, and the valuable comments from peer reviewers.</p></ack><ref-list content-type="authoryear"><ref id="1"><label>1</label><element-citation publication-type="journal"><p>-</p></element-citation></ref></ref-list></back></article>
