have played an increasingly vital role in the nation's efforts to provide urban&#xD;
and rural residents with employment opportunities during the last fifty years.&#xD;
In recent years,&nbsp;small, and intermediate businesses have contributed much&#xD;
more to the gross domestic product, resulting in the creation of many new&#xD;
employment possibilities. This study's results provide insight not only on the&#xD;
current state of job creation in India, but also on the future of job creation&#xD;
by MSMEs. The results of this study lead the researchers to conclude that&#xD;
micro, small, and medium-sized enterprises (MSMEs), particularly those located&#xD;
in rural areas, contributed significantly to the growth of employment&#xD;
opportunities. In addition, the states of Uttar Pradesh, Gujarat, Rajasthan,&#xD;
Telangana, Tamil Nadu, and Madhya Pradesh, as well as Karnataka, have each&#xD;
contributed to the increase of work opportunities. In conclusion, the findings&#xD;
of this study shed light on crucial issues such as strengthening infrastructure&#xD;
in rural areas and increasing investment in previously neglected enterprises.</p>
<kwd-group kwd-group-type="author"><kwd>Employment</kwd><kwd> Medium-Sized Enterprises (MSMEs)</kwd><kwd> Government Programs</kwd><kwd>businesses</kwd></kwd-group><funding-group><funding-statement>The authors did not receive any specific grants from funding agencies in the public, commercial, or non-profit sectors for the research, authorship, and/or publication of this article.</funding-statement></funding-group></article-meta></front><back>
<title>Data Availability</title><p>Not applicable&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;</p>
<title>Conflicts of Interest</title><p>All authors declare that they have no conflicts of interest.</p>
<title>Authors&#x2019; Contributions</title><p>The author confirms sole responsibility for the following: study conception and design, data collection, analysis and interpretation of results, and manuscript preparation.</p>
<title>Funding Statement</title><p>The authors did not receive any specific grants from funding agencies in the public, commercial, or non-profit sectors for the research, authorship, and/or publication of this article.</p>
<title>software-information</title><p>Not applicable</p>
<ack><title>Acknowledgments</title><p>I thank the following individuals for their expertise and assistance in all aspects of our study and for their help in writing the manuscript.
