This research report examines dietary protein's role in avoiding sarcopenia and the relationship between protein consumption and muscle health in an older Chinese population. Through a comprehensive review of the relevant literature, this study highlights the prevalence of sarcopenia, the impact of dietary habits, and the potential benefits of protein-rich diets. These findings highlight the importance of protein consumption for muscle function and provide dietary recommendations to encourage healthy aging in China's geriatric population.Sarcopenia, a significant medical issue for older people, is the progressive loss of muscle tissue and functioning as a result of aging. This study delves into the correlation between protein intake and muscle health in the Chinese elderly, specifically how dietary protein may help prevent sarcopenia. This paper summarises the present state of knowledge on sarcopenia, its effects on nutrition, and the possible advantages of protein-rich diets by reviewing the relevant literature in great detail. Dietary suggestions to promote healthy aging in the older Chinese population are suggested by the results, highlighting the need for sufficient protein consumption to maintain muscle health.
